Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog ! 

 I shared my opinions about the changes I would like to do for the world in my podcast.

 

    In this task, I created a podcast where I talked about how I would change the world, what changes would I make and how I would contribute to that change.In this process, it was not that difficult to come up with an idea and talk about it because as everyone else, I already had my own ideas about changing the world.So, I just summarized my thoughts and talked about them.The difficult part for me was the whole recording, saving, publishing and embading parts.I had a hard time with the technological stage of the task.I realized that even though I am at a young age, I am behind the technology.It may be because of the traditional education system I experienced.I was a bit stressed during the rough parts but once I figured out how I am supposed to get things done, it was quite enjoyable to be able to try new ways and adapt them to learning.I imagine that it would be even more enjoyable to adapt them to my teaching methods.

 

    I would use this kind of activity in the future with my students because with the technology developing in every second, learners should have the chance to use it for their own benefit.They can explore new learning techniques and enjoy the learning process.

CREATING A FLIPPED VOCABULARY TEACHING VIDEO

     Hello everyone ! In this post , I will tell you all about my latest creation . I prepared a flipped vocabulary teaching video with my group friends and you can see it at the and of this post . We were asked to choose 10 words from a unit within the given coursebook and create such a video for teaching those words . Also , at the end of the video , you can see the matching game we created for checking the understanding of the students 😊       I think creating these kinds of flipped classroom videos are so helpful for us in terms of having some experiences in this approach . Also , in terms of implementing this approach to an English classroom , it would be so much beneficial for students because a language can be learned through interaction and exposure of the target language . CREATING AN INFOGRAPHICS

 Hello everyone !      I am going to write about the infographic design that I created for my lesson project.You can see my design below.      My task was to design an infographic about the online higher education in Turkey during the pandemic.I used Canva to create an infographic.It was pretty easy and enjoyable to create such a product.It provides a range of themes and designs and you can add photos from your own computer to support and visualize your design.      I think it is a very useful task for language learners because it can encourage students to use the language they are learning and it does not have to include higher levels of proficiency in the target language.They can practise their existing knowledge of the language easily.Also, students would have fun creating a design on their own as I did. onlıne hıgher educatıon ın turkey - Dilara Sezgin
